Porter Middaugh, a senior at Battle Mountain High, finished fourth in the Class 4A boys final by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 15:28.8 at the Colorado High School Activities Association Cross Country Championships at Norris Penrose Event Center in Colorado Springs. Middaugh helped Battle Mountain earn eighth as a team with 224 points.
